I haven’t been able to create a scene in 2.0. I have 6 lights and want to create a scene to dim 4, extra dim 1 and turn 1 off to watch TV but can’t see how to do it. Instructions out there are only for the 1.0 version.

I’m curious to know you found a solution because I can’t find out how to fix this in the Hue second generation app. It was so easy in the first generation, but I think it is still impossible to create scenes with different lights in different colours for different situations. It was where they started with in 2012, but with hue second generation this possibility seems to be killed.

I’ve created a new scene by going picking my room, then going to lights tab, and setting each light to what I want. Then, click the scenes tab then click the “+” in the lower right hand corner. You can then pick either the existing light settings or a photo, just pick existing settings, then you get to name it.
