How to Use Philips Hue with Music and Movies
Philips hue is capable of syncing with music and movies, however this can only be done with the use of third party applications, not the Philips hue app. I will list below the applications that we were able to find that support these features for IOS, Android, and Windows.
IOS apps for Music
Hue Disco syncs your hue lights with your music.

Applications for Syncing Movies with Philips Hue
IOS apps for Movies
This application syncs your hue lights with movies from a list that is in their application, so it will not work with every movie but their list may have some you are looking for.
This application uses your devices camera aimed at your TV or screen to change your lights with what is playing.
Windows Applications for Movies with Hue
Screen Bloom is a windows application that uses Phython to sync your Philips hue lights to what is on your screen. With it you can sync movies, video games, or just about anything that is on your screen.
