They’re super cheap and come with a little sticky pad (there’s also screw holes) to mount them anywhere. They can simply be lifted off the base (holds itself with magnets) and used on a table etc by just turning.
The only downside is that they don’t show up in the Hue app and you just pair it with the bulb(s) that you want to control.
There’s a Youtube video showing how to pair them. You first pair them with the Hub so they’re on the same zigbee network then pair with the bulbs:
Hi….the rheostat/switch that controls the nav lights varies the instrument panel lights and the other rheostat dims the gear lights and also operates the red overhead light. Although it is awe inspiring to turn off all the interior lights on a clear.
